About Ea Craftworks
Our Story
EA Craftworks was established in 2017 as a creative metalworking studio with a focus on architecture and aesthetics. Like Apple and Microsoft, EA was founded in a garage. Unlike Apple and Microsoft, our founder Alex is still responsible for keeping the break area clean 😉  EA has graduated to a commercial facility on the NW side of Grand Rapids and evolved into a premier ornamental and architectural metals fabricator. We are successfully executing projects all over the Midwest.
Alex Kallio
Owner / Design Engineer
Alex is a graduate of Kendall College of Art and Design. He has over 20 years of experience in welding, metal fabrication, design, and prototyping. Certified in SolidWorks, and with extensive experience with AutoCAD, Alex specializes in using his experience and knowledge to find creative solutions to client’s design and production issues. Alex is involved in the creation and management of every single project EA is involved with.

We have a broad library of experience. Our team consists of fabricators, designers, and artists. Each with well-honed skills in their specialty, as well as an array of hobbies in other creative and technical fields. This allows us to provide insight from different vectors to help us better serve our clients.
